I'm not happy with the uploaded version as it skews the audio at the end - I tried to fix it, but nothing doing. The yousendit version has the right audio. It really doesn't take much away from the video, but it's definitely a little off.

Actually, it's me, bitching about other people going to DragonCon this year. Now understand that 99% of the people who I know of who are going are excited, delerious, giddy, and anxious, in some cases they are going into debt, marshalling resources, planning costumes, generally doing all those things one does before paying the exhorbitant hotel room fees, entirely reasonable entry prices and hording snacks and empty water bottles on which they will try and exist for the four day marathon.

Then there are the other ones.

You guys know the ones I'm talking about. The ones who are basically living at the D*C based forum threads, the LJ comms, etc, telling everyone else how they are being ripped off, how things they know nothing about or bothered to check into are a scam, how people can get around paying for autos/photos/etc. Why do they bother and if everything is so awful and a scam, why are they going??????? I can think of other things to spend 1000 bucks on than something that I believe to be a scam, where I think I'm being ripped off, and where I think the "other" folks there are "stupid", "ignorant", "gullible" - that list goes on....

So there. I'm done bitching about it - for now, anyway. I'm going with a fabulous groups of folk and I had a blast last year! I bought what I wanted, paid for what I bought, and came home with fantastik experiences. I'm not sure what everyone else's problems are...
